Pinned in the midst of Cyclades, Paros counts 120km’s of coastline. With beautiful sandy beaches, separated by each other by rocks, Paros is ready to offer the ideal beach for each of its visitors.
Logaras
Logaras Beach
Almost next to Pisw Livadi, this is one of Paros’ most well known Blue flag beaches. Similar blonde sand to Xrisi Akti, this is a well equipped beach with rooms-to-let, beach bars and cafes one step away from the waves. Beautiful underwater sights, ideal for scuba diving and snorkeling. Access to Logara beach is from Paroikia, or from Naousa, as it is equally far from each of the two.
Monastiri
Monastiri Beach
The Monastiri beach lies at the western section of Naousa’s bay and is one of the best known and most visited beaches of Paros. There is a restaurant and a café-bar which belong to the Paros Park. Access to the beach is from Naousa using a boat, or by road with your own means of transportation.
Golden Coast
Golden Coast Beach
Golden Coast is the biggest and for most the most beautiful beach Paros has to offer. It is famous for its huge, blonde sandy beach, its windsurf-ideal current and its crystal clear shallow waters. Golden Coast is well organized with restaurants and small bars situated behind the beach and umbrellas with sunbeds all along its length. Its vast sands are ideal both for in-water and out of water games, without being in danger from stray tennis and beach volley balls. Children on the other hand will definitely enjoy playing in its shallow waters, as the bed deepens gradually. Golden Coast has an organized surf-club which apart from beginner and advanced lessons also offers rental and guarding of boats. It also has rescue boats while experienced life-guards sweep the beach all day long from their beach tower, ready to assist should the need arises.
Santa Maria
Santa Maria Beach
West of Naousa, very close to Alyki lays the Santa Maria beach, a small heaven on earth that will steal your hearts. Tiny creeks which in some points are suitable for total isolation and perfect sands separated by sand dunes with small cedars growing from them, a pleasant change from the abundance of the tamarisk that covers the rest of Paros’ beaches. There are sun beds and umbrellas for those seeking comfort and plenty of space between the dunes for the more rugged. Paros’ Santa Maria beach is the ideal beach to combine peacefulness and entertainment. Some parts of it are very well organized, with sea sports and beach volley available. Bars and small taverns are scattered throughout the beach, without hurting its majestic scenery. The waters are crystal clear and cool while the deep will magnetize your gaze.
Small Santa Maria Beach
Well suited for those looking for something more relaxed away from busy meeting points. The small leeward bay lays on the northeastern part of the island only 2 km’s from Naousa and is an excellent all weather choice. The golden beach and the crystal waters create the absolute scenery for sunbathing and deep dives. If on the other hand you want to test your performance in water sports, there is an abundance of activities to entertain you.
Faraggas
Faraggas Beach
Words cannot describe this beach. It is located near Alyki. With a beautiful sandy beach and crystal clear waters with plenty of room for everyone as it has both an organized part as well as a free beach. It is one of the most up and coming beaches of the island, since it is protected from the wind due to its position inside a small natural bay. Plenty of small taverns and beach bars are available for your enjoyment.
Kolympithres
Kolympithres Beach
Perhaps the most unique beach Paros has to offer. What set it apart from the rest are the huge granite rocks that surround it, which due to the wind and waves have been formed into unique shapes and sizes, several of which form natural font sized cavities. The waters are cool and crystal clear with the rock shadows mirrored on the sea giving the waters all shades of blue. The beach is located at the western part of Naousa bay, on the northwestern edge of Paros, close to the village itself. The beach can be accessed via road (with your own transportation) or by small boats that cast off from Naousa ‘s port and it is highly suggested you try it at least once). Not far from the beach there are a few small taverns where you can enjoy traditional delicacies and fresh local fish.
Laggeri
Laggeri Beach
This small but well protected sandy beach is about 1,5 kms northeast of Naousa and about 12 kms from Paroikia. The beach is not organized, but it has crystal clear waters, thin sand and beautiful dunes that offer moments of peace and quiet to its visitors, away from the noise and the crowd that you find in other organized beaches of the island.
